Director - Brand Marketing - Rove Hotels - Emaar Hospitality Group - Dubai


Job description
To manage, develop and implement brand marketing initiatives of Rove Hotels and strengthen its positioning. To ensure the management of the brand aligns with the brand strategy. The role seeks to support the development of new brands and guidelines. The role also seeks to enhance Rove’s performance by delivering turnkey solutions to provide strategic marketing support to individual Clusters to deliver upon the brand promise and brand positioning.


Brand Marketing
Execute the brand and marketing strategy, and implement initiatives that align with Rove’s overall business plan, and that drive opportunities for brand awareness and revenue generation respectively
Support and manage the development of Rove Hotels, including but not limited to brand positioning, brand identity, brand style, brand templates and brand toolkits, and to drive brand goals
Develop targeted measurable and multi-channel brand marketing campaigns or other key marketing initiatives.
Provide strategic direction towards individual Clusters of Rove Hotels to support the strengthening of its commercial success, and to review Cluster marketing and media plans for the brands in the portfolio.
Manage photo shoots, visual assets and rich media productions, coinciding with all brand standards.
Provide strategic direction and marketing support for new openings and set foundations for the same
Seek and solicit new opportunities with brand partnership initiatives to increase brand awareness
Review, edit and audit all written materials and collateral prepared to represent the brands prior to distribution to ensure consistency and relevance, and to conduct brand audits in intervals as defined
Ensure the correct corporate policy and brand standards are followed for all printed and display materials to ensure brand integrity is protected and promotional messages are delivered at all times
Manage relationships with appointed creative and other agency partners to ensure collateral and all other multi-channel touch points align with Rove Hotels, and that brand standards are followed
Follow established project management and reporting practices to plan and track projects, marketing activity and through-the-line communications, in accordance with departmental / corporate policies.

Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, design, marketing, hospitality or similar.


Typical Experience:

5 years of experience progressively in a Brand Manager/Director role, or
5 years of experience in a senior brand design agency role


Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:

Advanced skills in brand guidelines development and design.
Advanced relationship management skills.
Advanced content and copy writing skills.
