We are currently looking for a Senior Project Director - Construction for a major heavy civil infrastructure program in Qatar. Scope includes roads, bridges, tunnels, irrigation networks, utilities, landscaping and other related infrastructure. Successful candidates will be MEP focused, and have a proven track record in delivery utilities for mega land development construction projects.
Responsibilities
You will be involved in project planning, co-ordination and management for one of the major packages throughout construction phase. Responsibilities:
Manage a team of several Project Managers and Construction Managers to ensure smooth operations. Resource planning and attending site meetings with Clients and provide advice on the designing work. Provide overall direction and management to the Project and Construction Managers for the different sub packages.
Monitor on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations; monitor risks/problems and helpsdevelop options to resolve.
The Senior Project Manager also assists in planning and defining program goals; and the strategy to ensure they are met. Most importantly the Senior Project Manager represents the client’s interests.
