Director Trust Fiduciary Services Standard Chartered Bank Dubai

Job Description
This position technical support to Private Banking (PVB) RMs for the sale and maintenance of fiduciary services .This is to be accomplished while maintaining product integrity. Minimizing risk, avoiding litigation and achieving sales budget. This advice is expected to lead to new business which will increase both assets under management and revenues for the bank

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Designated focal point for meeting new business prospects for fiduciary services.
Act as local representative of both trust companies for ongoing fiduciary matters with existing clients
Work with RMs to develop their marketing plans for offering fiduciary services to clients.
Contribute to the preparation of marketing and sales materials to support the fiduciary business.
Train and assist the RMs so that they better understand the fiduciary structures.
Work as part of the Global Fiduciary Management Team
Work closely with the Trust Companies to deliver the appropriate solutions for clients
Monitor and keep up to date with changes in tax laws and other legislation that affect the fiduciary business and report impact on changes to regional markets
Develop a fiduciary service budget, manage and report on that correspondent budget.
Creates sales strategies within the MENAP Region.
Ensure the that Treating Customer's Fairly standards are consistently met
Review the new business to be introduced to the Trust Companies to ensure manageable levels of fiduciary, reputational and legal risk.
Present the new business to LCC or GCC for approval.

Key Measurables
Delivery on budget goals (nos. of structures, revenue, AuA,& SCB AUM penetration)
Reliable and effective investment products offered/presented through the PvB.
Effective control and compliance of fiduciary service communications / marketing material
Client satisfaction survey results (internal and external)
Ensure appropriate information on our customers needs and circumstances are gathered
Ensure suitable advice is provided to our customers ensuring that clients understand the information provided and they are able to make informed decisions

Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures
Work effectively across SCB, using values behaviours to drive overall business growth

Qualifications And Skills

University Graduate with a Legal qualification preferred
Minimum of 10 years experience in Trust and Fiduciary busines
Relevant STEP or ICSA and valid Qualification/ Membership
Demonstrable and relevant experience in the Fiduciary / Private Banking industry commensurate with this remit and level of responsibility
Proven capabilities in growing businesses
Proven risk management capabilities
Firm in all business guidelines and compliance issues
Strong interpersonal skills both with clients and internal stakeholders
Preferably a sound knowledge of financial markets and investment products
Outstanding communication and presentation skills(written and verbal)
Collaborative team player
